Grand Rounds Clinician Calls

Twice-Weekly Clinical Collaboration For Complex Testosterone, Androgen, And Hormone Therapy Cases
The Testosteronology Society™ Grand Rounds gives clinicians a place to bring difficult cases into a live multidisciplinary discussion with healthcare professionals who understand the complexity of testosterone, androgen, and hormone-related care. These twice-weekly video sessions are designed to help members think more clearly, evaluate risk more carefully, and make better decisions for the patients they serve.
Many clinicians are expected to manage patients with overlapping symptoms, unusual lab patterns, medication interactions, psychiatric variables, cardiometabolic concerns, women’s hormonal transitions, and treatment responses that do not fit a simple protocol. Grand Rounds was built to help solve that problem. Instead of working through difficult cases in isolation, members can present their cases live and receive practical insight from a broad range of medical disciplines represented across the Testosteronology Society™.
Why Grand Rounds Matters
Grand Rounds is not passive education. It is an active clinical collaboration model built around real cases, real uncertainty, and real-world decision-making. Members bring forward the cases that challenge them most, and the group works through the reasoning together.
This creates a higher level of learning than static course material alone. Clinicians are able to hear how other professionals think through tradeoffs, identify blind spots, weigh risk factors, and interpret situations that may look straightforward on paper but become much more nuanced in practice. This process helps members sharpen their own clinical judgment while improving the quality of care they deliver to patients.
At its core, Grand Rounds helps clinicians avoid one of the biggest problems in modern hormone care: trying to solve complex patient problems alone when those problems require wider experience and broader medical perspective.
A Multidisciplinary Community Built For Better Care
One of the defining strengths of Testosteronology Society™ Grand Rounds is the range of specialists involved in the discussion. Cases are explored through the combined lens of internal medicine, family medicine, naturopathic medicine, functional medicine, pharmacology, women’s health and menopausal medicine, cardiology, infectious disease, emergency medicine, endocrinology, urology, and psychiatry.
That diversity matters because difficult hormone-related cases rarely stay confined to one specialty. A lab issue may also be a medication issue. A symptom issue may also involve mental health, sleep, cardiometabolic risk, or women’s hormonal transition. A treatment response may require insight from several disciplines at once before a clinician can feel confident about the next step.
Grand Rounds gives members access to exactly that kind of broader thinking. It helps bring the right perspectives into the room so that patients benefit from deeper, more informed care.
How Grand Rounds Works
Grand Rounds takes place twice each week through live video sessions with members of the Testosteronology Society™. During these meetings, clinicians can present challenging cases, describe their current thinking, ask focused questions, and receive feedback from fellow members across multiple disciplines.
These sessions are built around practical clinical collaboration. The goal is not abstract debate. The goal is to help clinicians better understand the patient in front of them, better evaluate the risks and opportunities involved, and leave with stronger clarity about how to proceed.
Members are able to use Grand Rounds to work through issues involving testosterone replacement therapy, androgen physiology, adverse effect management, lab interpretation, documentation questions, women’s hormonal care, psychiatric complexity, medication interactions, and other related treatment challenges that require more than a simple answer.
Bring Your Difficult Cases Live
The greatest value of Grand Rounds is the ability to present difficult cases live.
When a clinician is facing a case that does not respond the way expected, presents conflicting signals, or raises concerns that feel difficult to sort through alone, Grand Rounds creates a place for real-time support. Members can bring those cases before the group, explain the challenge, and receive practical multidisciplinary input that can help clarify the path forward.
This kind of collaboration strengthens confidence, reduces unnecessary guesswork, and helps members develop a more disciplined approach to difficult care decisions. It also supports better communication with patients because clinicians leave with a clearer understanding of how to explain options, tradeoffs, and next steps.
A Searchable Library Of Real Clinical Experience
The value of Grand Rounds does not end when the live session is over.
As part of the Testosteronology Society™ training experience, Grand Rounds meetings are recorded, organized, and made searchable for members. This growing archive creates an expanding library of real case experience that clinicians can return to as they encounter similar challenges in practice.
That means members are not only learning from the case they bring themselves. They are also learning from the questions, decisions, and clinical reasoning shared across the Society over time with over 75 past session recordings are available on the website. When a difficult patient presentation arises, members can search prior Grand Rounds discussions to find relevant case patterns, insights, and multidisciplinary thinking that may help support better decisions.
This growing record of shared experience becomes more valuable with every meeting. It turns Grand Rounds into both a live collaboration forum and a practical long-term training resource.
How Patients Benefit
Grand Rounds exists for clinicians, but the ultimate benefit is for patients.
When clinicians have regular access to collaboration, broader expertise, and case-based learning, patients receive better-informed care. They are more likely to benefit from careful reasoning, stronger risk awareness, clearer explanations, and a treatment plan shaped by deeper clinical experience.
Patients often come to hormone-related care with frustration, confusion, prior treatment failures, unusual symptoms, or concerns that have not been fully addressed elsewhere. Grand Rounds helps members respond to that complexity with a higher level of readiness and support. It gives clinicians a stronger foundation for caring for patients whose cases demand more than a routine approach.
Part Of The Advanced Clinician Training Program
Grand Rounds is part of the Advanced Clinician Training Program offered through the Testosteronology Society™. This means members receive not only structured educational content, but also an ongoing opportunity to learn from real-world cases discussed in a collaborative environment.
The combination of formal training and live multidisciplinary case review is one of the key ways the Society helps members build practical competence in the medical specialty of Testosteronology®. It supports a more complete educational experience by connecting foundational knowledge with real clinical application.
What Members Are Saying
Stephanie Tobiasz, NP

The opportunity to discuss complex cases with expert practitioners across a wide range of medical disciplines, share evidence-based protocols, and apply harm-reduction strategies has meaningfully strengthened my practice and the care I provide to patients. I feel supported and truly part of a community of experts I can turn to when questions arise, especially in areas where local colleagues may have less specialized experience. I value these meetings for the continuous learning, rich case discussions, and the practical tools I use in my practice every day.”
Jason Bennett, APRN, PMHNP-BC
“As a Nurse Practitioner, I have the privilege of having people trust my judgement with their healthcare. Grand Rounds And The Future Of Testosteronology®
Higher standards in hormone care do not come from isolated decision-making or oversimplified protocols. They come from education, collaboration, accountability, and the willingness to think through complexity carefully.
That is what Grand Rounds helps make possible. It gives clinicians a place to learn continuously, present difficult cases, hear from multiple disciplines, and build the kind of judgment that serves patients well over time. It also gives the Testosteronology Society™ a living, growing body of shared case experience that strengthens the training of every member who participates.
Grand Rounds is one of the clearest expressions of what the Testosteronology Society™ stands for: better clinical reasoning, stronger multidisciplinary collaboration, and a higher standard of care for people receiving testosterone, androgen, and other hormone therapies.
