Testosteronology Society™ Committees

At the Testosteronology Society™, our mission to advance safe, evidence-based androgen-related care is driven by the passion and expertise of our members. Committee participation is a privilege of membership.


Only active Society members in good standing are eligible to serve on Committees. This ensures that our standards, leadership, and direction are shaped by individuals who are truly committed to the growth and integrity of Testosteronology as a recognized discipline.

Committees of the Testosteronology Society™

Medical Standards & Practices Committee

 

Purpose: This Committee upholds the clinical, scientific and ethical rigor of the Testosteronology Society™. It ensures our guidelines, protocols, and best practices remain current, evidence-based and reflective of the highest standards of care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update clinical standards, practice frameworks, and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Review emerging research, safety data, regulatory changes and clinical trends in androgen-related medicine.
  • Produce provider tools such as consensus statements, pathways, and clinical safety checklists.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts and Society faculty to maintain accuracy and scientific integrity.

 

Who Should Apply

 

Members in good standing who are clinicians, researchers, educators or experienced practitioners in andrology, endocrinology, internal medicine, sports medicine or related disciplines.

Continuing Education & Content Committee

 

Purpose:  This Committee ensures the Society’s educational programming remains high-quality, clinically relevant and accessible to members across all levels of practice.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and oversee educational programs such as webinars, workshops and on-demand modules.
  • Develop member-focused clinical resources, case studies, guideline summaries and learning tools.
  • Work with the Medical Standards & Practices Committee to align content with current evidence and best practices.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to continually improve educational offerings and identify new topics.

 

Who Should Apply

 

Members in good standing who are educators, clinicians, content creators, instructional designers or passionate contributors to learning and professional development.

Advocacy Committee

 

Purpose:  The Advocacy Committee amplifies the voice of the Testosteronology Society™ to influence laws, regulations, and standards that impact testosterone science and patient care. The committee ensures policy decisions are guided by accurate, evidence-based information.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze legislation, regulatory changes, and emerging policy trends affecting Testosteronology® subspeciality.
  • Develop policy statements, position papers, and official responses on behalf of the Testosteronology Society™.
  • Engage with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and partner organizations to advocate for evidence-based standards.
  • Educate members and the public about relevant policy developments and their implications.

 

Who Should Apply

 

Members with a passion for public policy, healthcare standards, regulatory affairs, or legislative impact—especially those who want to help shape the future of Testosteronology®.

Marketing & Promotion Committee

 

Purpose: This Committee elevates the visibility, credibility and reach of the Society, ensuring that the principles of Testosteronology® are recognized within the medical community and the public.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing, communications and outreach strategies (digital, print, social, events).
  • Promote Society initiatives, programs, educational events and certification opportunities.
  • Craft clear and consistent messaging aligned with the Society’s mission and values.
  • Identify partnership, media and speaking opportunities to expand influence and awareness.

 

Who Should Apply

 

Members in good standing with interest or experience in marketing, communications, public relations, branding, digital outreach or event promotion—especially in a healthcare-related context.

Committee Eligibility & Requirements

 

Only Testosteronology Society Members in good standing may serve on Committees. 

 

A member is considered in good standing when their membership is active and current with all dues paid and they adhere to the Society’s code of ethics and standards of conduct.

 

General Expectations of Committee Members

  • Attend scheduled meetings (typically virtual).
  • Actively participate in discussions, tasks and project groups.
  • Uphold professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the Society’s mission, vision and standards.
